To ensure the Scions' safety, Cid Garlond initiated a project for Assistant androids (K-01 to K-07-a). They faced a shared challenge—subpar task performance due to high energy consumption. Addressing this, the project called for mechanical enhancements to reduce energy usage and sought a more compact, efficient energy source.

Eureka Expedition

The discovery of a mysterious island in the Far East led Miss Rowena to organize a land expedition. Garlond Ironworks, under the leadership of Aize Kazimira (Living Enigma), sent researchers to explore an alternative power source crucial for their Magitek Android project. In The Baldesion Arsenal, Kazimira found unique crystals radiating significant aether, collecting them for integration into the project.

Soul-separation

Having evaded the Garlean Empire, Neibhor Lab scientists accessed Aulus mal Asina's redacted project, focusing on soul separation and switching. Recognizing synergy, they proposed collaboration to craft backup bodies for the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Envisioning a tangible possibility, they offered to integrate our efforts.The soul transfer process overwrites everything in the droid with the creator, which could affect the soul and memories(If they have it).

Unexpected Soul

Model K-07 Series, or "Miqodroid," was conceived as a prototype for the backup body project, tasked with securing "Aize Kazmira." However, during the journey, Miqodroid was able to travel to the Elpis and meet Ascian Emet-Selch who discerned the presence of a soul within K-07-b-1's power crystal core. This theory gained validation when Y'shtola Rhul, adept at perceiving Aether, confirmed it. Consequently, Kazmira, recognizing the implications, made the academic decision to terminate the soul backup project, ultimately leading to her tragic demise in the end.

Presently, our scientists are unable to trace the origin of the soul. Hypotheses posit that the soul may either be created within the crystal to forge a "Living Weapon" just like Ozma, Absolute Virtue, and other creations in The Baldesion Arsenal or could be a remnant soul captured since the Allagan era (the 3rd Era).

Most combat The first Miqodroid is linked to an Ice-element Eurekan Crystal and shares a special bond with her female creator. They journey to Elpis, exploring tales of hope and despair. She's the first to reveal a living soul within. At the end of their journey to Ultima Thule, she learns to manipulate time from Aize Kazimira, who passed her name to the android before her demise.Wishing to fulfill her creator's legacy of exploring and solving conflict for Eorzea, she joins the Scions and volunteers to gather data for Cid in order to develop the Eorzea.Her soul's personality is adventurous but quiet, and logical but occasionally naive. She typically speaks in a calm tone and formal speaking, except in battle, where emotions noticeably influence her actions.She got the most upgrade among all units.

Lusty Android, Combatant, Assassin

"Do you wanna try some experiment with me?"

Linked to a Lightning-element Eurekan Crystal, Miqodroid was created after K-07-b-1. Overhearing Cid and Aize discussing using Miqodroid as a backup body one night, she was shocked and frightened. Her lightning soul awakened, leading to an escape from the lab, injuring staff and guards in the process.In the outside world, facing Eorzea's dark side, she was assaulted by street punks and defended herself by electrocuting them. This experience led her to become curious about human mating and lust.Her unique ability lets her jam into other Miqodroids via Cloud-Link and other machinery by direct touch(a risky method as she will be disconnected from her model), taking over their bodies. Despite this, she cares about her sister and wishes for them to play with her.Her soul's personality is cheeky, expressed through a humorous and sweet bratty speaking tone.She has corrupted files due to her self-upgrade.

The android aspect of Wind-element Eurekan Crystal. Differs from the first two in Model K-07. Unlike them, this crystal doesn't seem to contain a soul or awaken at all. Linked with her sister, the C series Miqodroid strictly follows her guidance. While not adept at combat, they excel in scouting and entertaining people with their songs, boasting better functionality for data download and upload to the cloud. Moreover, Vinde has the ability to cloak herself. She could sneak around to gather information.

The second android of C series attached with Fire-element Eurekan Crystal which doesn't seem to contain a soul or awaken at all. Linked with her sister, the C series Miqodroid strictly follows her guidance. While not adept at combat, they excel in scouting and entertaining people with their bard performance, boasting better functionality for data download and upload to the cloud. Moreover, Lume also excels at scouting in the dark. But can not hide herself well because she emits light while doing so.

The third android of the C series is unique due to her Earth-element Eurekan Crystal containing an awakened soul. Linked with her sister, the C series Miqodroid typically follows the Leader's guidance. But, Olge possesses free will and doesn't strictly adhere to general rules. Departing to the Light world, she explores different areas at the wanderers from The Light convincing her to join their convoy. Her journey is distinct from her place of origin, leading her to settle in a new world without returning home for a long while. Because highest performance among other Miqodroid, she got promoted to lead expeditions.She can communicate across continents or even the world without tools, as long as the linked person is on land.Her soul's personality is tough but laid-back, often speaking in a loud tone.
